Historic Luftwaffe Honor Goblet grouping, including original award documents for the goblet and successive bomber clasps. The silver Honor goblet is 8 inches tall and 3 7/8 inches across the mouth. The main body shows a World War II pattern Iron Cross on one side and a scene of two eagles in mid-air combat on the reverse. The base has the name of the recipient "Leutnant Gerhard Seidlitz AM 6.11.41". Documentation includes original presentation certificate, signed by Hermann Goering and four bomber group presentation certificates. The goblet is in excellent condition with some minor edge wear on the bottom and a few light handling marks. The goblet is made of German 835 silver and is hallmarked on the underside bottom of the vessel. The presentation certificate is in very good condition with some slight creases. The bomber group certificates are in good condition with some light handling marks. The original presentation case and negatives of the original certificates are included. This is a rare, very original, well documented WW II artifact. Handsome addition to any German WW II collection.
